The Hostal Putxet is a charming hostel with 24 rooms next to Gaudi´s famous Park Güell. The Hostel is located in an upscale semi-residential area and undoubtedly in the safest area of Barcelona.
The Hostel Putxet has been renovated in April 2006 so it is modern and provided with cosy and spacious facilities where our guest can enjoy from our vending machines, relax area and PC with free internet access. Our Hostel is clean, safe and reasonably priced and managed by a friendly team.

Hostal Putxet boasts 24 rooms, very modern and are equipped with Satellite TV, air conditioning and heating. All the rooms have a private bathroom and free internet access, unusual in a Barcelona Hostel. Our rooms are clean and comfortable. Very good value for money.!!!

Facilities:
The hostal Putxet has 24 hour reception so you can get to the Hostel any time any day. Check in Time is at 14:00 h and Check out Time is at 12:00 h. You must pay the full amount of your stay at check in.
Although there is no restaurant available onsite there are many fine dining venues a few steps from the hostel. Also there is parking space nearby the hostal.
Location:
The Hostel is just four metro stops away from Las Ramblas, Plaça Catalunya, Born and Gothic Area. It is just five minutes metro ride. The Tourist Bus Stop is just 100 meters away from the Hostel.
From Barcelona Airport, you can take a taxi to the Hostel. It is the fastest way (around 25 minutes). Otherwise you can take the train or the Aerobus, that depart every 15 minutes to Plaza Catalunya station. Once there you can take the FGC (Ferrocarrils Generalitat Catalunya Underground) to Padua Stop. From Padua stop walk up north to Ronda General Mitre (100 meters from Padua Stop). On Ronda General Mitre cross the Street and once crossed it turn right and walk for 300 meters. On the left hand side you will find Ballester Street and you will see the Hostel just 20 meters away.

Cancellation policy:
There is no upfront payment, we require valid credit card details to guarantee the reservation, however all clients pay direct to the hostel upon departure. Your credit card will be validated to secure your booking.
There is no charge if cancellations are made one (1) day prior arrival: Cancellations made on the day of arrival or no-shows will be charged one (1) night cancellation / no-show fee.
